Applies to LumaPeek 1.0

Privacy, in plain language.

LumaPeek uses your iPhone’s front camera, screen lighting and optional mirror image warmth as a personal mirror. Camera and image-tone processing stay on your device. This policy also explains this website and optional support email.

At a glance

  • Camera views and temporary frozen images stay on your device.
  • Saving is optional and requests add-only Photos access.
  • No account, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.
  • Lighting, image-tone and mirror preferences are stored locally. Reset restores their default values.

Camera and temporary images

Camera access is used for the live mirror and the images you choose to freeze. Live views, image-tone adjustments and frozen images are processed on your iPhone without AI analysis, cloud processing or image uploads to the developer.

Temporary frozen images are cleared when you return to Live or leave the app. Freezing an image does not automatically save it to Photos.

Saving to Photos

Saving an image is your choice. Only when you tap Save does LumaPeek request PhotoKit add-only access and write the selected frozen image to your photo library. It does not request access to read your existing photos.

Once saved, an image is managed by Apple Photos and your device settings, including any iCloud Photos setting you have enabled. You can delete saved images in Photos.

Microphone and audio

LumaPeek does not record audio, use the microphone or request microphone permission.

Local preferences

Lighting enabled state, layout, intensity, light hue, width or area, mirror image warmth and mirror orientation are stored locally on your device. Reset in the app’s settings restores default values, including Natural image tone; it does not promise deletion of individual stored preference keys or remove saved photos. No account or cloud sync is used for these preferences.

Data collection, advertising and tracking

LumaPeek 1.0 has no advertising, tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, subscriptions or in-app purchases. It does not collect or transmit your camera images, device identifiers or usage history to the developer.

This website

These are static pages. They do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, upload features or a support form. The interactive illustration runs in your browser and does not access your camera or send its control choices to a server.

This static website is hosted by Cloudflare. Loading a page sends ordinary HTTP request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the hosting provider. See https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ for the provider’s privacy information. This website does not add analytics, tracking or a support submission service.

Contacting support

If you choose to send a support email, your email provider sends it using its usual service. The developer receives your message and reply address and uses them to respond to your request. Opening an email draft does not send it automatically.

Please send only what is needed to explain the issue. Do not include face images, private photos, passwords or other unnecessary personal information. The support page provides a minimal message template.

Your choices

You can change Camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings, restore default preferences in LumaPeek and remove the app to remove its local preferences. Saved photos remain in Photos until you delete them there.

You can use the mirror without saving an image. Denying Photos permission does not require you to share your photo library or contact support.

Updates to this policy

This policy describes version 1.0. If a future release changes how information is handled, this page and the app’s privacy information will be updated to describe the change.
