Quick checks for the live mirror, independent Lighting and Mirror tone controls, frozen images and saving to Photos.
In iPhone Settings, open LumaPeek and allow Camera access. Return to the app after an interruption and use Retry if it appears.
When prompted, allow LumaPeek to add photos. If access was denied, enable it in iPhone Settings, then return and freeze a new view before saving. Leaving the app for Settings clears the previous temporary image.
Open Light → Lighting. Enable Fill light, choose Frame or Panel, then adjust Warm / Natural / Cool, Intensity and Width / Area. In Panel, close the expanded control panel before judging the light reaching you, so it covers less emitting area. Turning lighting off or leaving the app restores the brightness baseline. Check actual illumination on your device; results vary with the screen, surroundings and distance.
Open Light → Mirror tone and move Warmth toward Cool or Warm. Natural is the default; Reset tone restores it. This adjusts image pixels separately from Lighting and works with Fill light off. Frozen views use the same tone treatment, and saving preserves it without adding a second pass. If image tone is unsupported, the app shows a message and returns to Natural.
Tap the zoom control to switch between 1× and up to 2×, or pinch within your camera’s supported range. In a frozen view, pinch and drag to inspect details. Tap Live to clear the temporary image. Leaving the app also clears it.
